NEWS: Random Act of Kindness Day!
February 17th is the day that Boom Boom! was meant for…yes, it’s the day that is officially sanctioned as the appropriate time to do nice things for others and for no reason at all!
Now, as Revolutionists and Official Operatives of Altruism, you know that the appropriate time to do nice things for others is, of course, any time. You also know it’s a way of life and not meant to be lived for a just a day or a week…but you gotta admit, it’s kind of fun to have a whole day just to celebrate and encourage being a nice person!
So, in honor of the work you have already done and the work you continue to do, we here at Headquarters hereby rename today:
Revolutionary Act of Kindness Day!
This is in honor of you out there who are random acting and revolutionizing it all over the world. And you aren’t just doing it one day or week of the year, you are doing it every chance you get! That rocks! So, for you, we officially declare this day REVOLUTIONARY!
(Psssst…now, ummm…we didn’t check with anyone or anything to do this, so we don’t know how really “official” it is, but hey, it’s a called a revolution; we think that means no checking or requests for approval necessary.)
For now just know that today is YOUR day…so get out there and continue to be revolutionary. Just remember that tomorrow, the battle still rages on and we need you on the front line!
