News: Burbank or Bust!
Our journey started out so hopeful!
We were wide eyed and eager as we loaded up Rosie, the Boom Boom! Bus and readied ourselves for the long drive to Burbank. We are honored to have been invited to be a part of Connected’s upcoming Emmys Gift Suite, September 18th & 19th, where we are hoping to be able to talk to and put Boom Boom! Cards into the hands of all kinds of celebrities. We couldn’t have been more excited!
But then, a twist of fate.
Rosie won’t start.
It seemed everything was hanging in the balance. We pushed her to a safe place and contemplated Plan B. Finally, after much discussion, we came to the conclusion that, there is no Plan B. There is only Plan A and we must execute!
So, after an afternoon of phone calls, some dignified begging (if there is such a thing) and a little cajoling, we saw light at the end of the tunnel. And it wasn’t an oncoming train!
And that’s where we’re at. Solidly headed to California’s Southland, Boom Boom! Cards in tow, ready to take on the world, starting with the Emmys.
