News: Boom Boom! is on the Road Headin’ to the Emmys!
Chuggin’ along in Rosie, the Boom Boom! Bus.
She’s ridin’ smooth and we are feeling good, until an unanticipated stop in a very inconvenient place forces us to hang out for a bit. Oh well. Stuff happens.
But, on the upside, we made a new friend and were able to leave our Boom Boom! mark.
After waiting a while, we discover AAA is having a hard time finding us. According to the AAA lady on the phone, “Y’all picked the worst spot on the highway to run out of gas. It’s a no man’s land.” Excellent.
So, with some time on our hands MB has an idea…
Ah yes… a little roadside toast to the occasion. Why not? It’s all about attitude, right? Might as well have a good one. (Carolyn, the driver, took the pic but, of course, took no sips!).
About an hour later we rejoice! The big blue truck arrives!
And Tony saves the day! Boom Boom!
Success! We’re back in action!
Although we probably should get that gas gauge fixed.
Four hours later, we arrive safely in Burbank (pretty close to Warner Brother’s studios actually, maybe we’ll run into Ellen…that’d be cool!).
A good meal and a toast to what the future may bring!
Nice way to end a long day.

Have had so much fun reading and rereading about all your adventures. what a riot. i’ve been laughing myself silly over it. i don’t know how you can tape yourselves in the middle of impending doom. that in itself is hilarious. loved the guy with the dredlocks wow.
hey girls… i boomed helene’s sweet family last night (wed. ) w/ pizza for all and taught sophie how to open a beer for her dad’s homecoming… told the kids this’d put a smile on his face and boy DID IT! my credibility is totally notched up on laurel st.!
