Of course, every day is a great day to make a difference, but we’re sure glad there’s a day dedicated to focusing on this concept.
Saturday, October 24th is official “Make a Difference Day” and you can join the millions of people who are pledging to make a difference in some way. Click the link to find out more about who started “Make a Difference Day” and what you can do to join the movement and be a part of it.
Of course, so many of you are already making a difference every day with your Boom Boom! Cards. It’s incredible to read the ways in which you are all contributing to the movement to make the world a kinder more compassionate place, like Shelleyann Keelean did here with her Boom Boom! Card post, “A Running Stop” . If you haven’t read it, it’s an inspiring story about the difference this woman made for a little boy she “ran” into. Or, check out MolloandEmmo’s post “Boo! You’ve Been Ghosted…” and see the difference two people make for friends and neighbors every Halloween. They even give instructions on how you can do it too!
Yes, in big and small ways, every day, you are all changing the world. So, this Saturday, on Make a Difference Day, keep on doing what you are doing. Play your cards, change the world. And then, keep on doing it.
It’s not going to happen over night, but it is going to happen. You can not only make a difference, you can make THE difference for someone.
