I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. What he was doing in my pajamas I’ll never know. – Groucho Marx
we played paint ball all the day and in last we had a grand party…
Day off? Pedicure and spend the day with my kids!
I wouldn’t even know what to do with a day off…I would probably spend the day with good company and good food. Perhaps some time at the beach and a cup of tea as well.
I would spend the day with my kids.
Twitter suspended my account after 40 tweets because of “aggressive tweeting” and I had to create a new account. I did tweet under davidholder_3 for the giveaway and now tweeting using dholder3.
I’d sleep an extra 2 hours then spend the day reading my new novel.
Sleep in and watch an old movie like “gone with the wind”
I’d go shoe shpooing
I’d take the kids and we’d go to the beach – fun fun day!
I’d sleep, eat and watch television
If I had the day off and it was summer I would head off to the beach, being winter I would read a book that I received for my birthday and haven’t had time to start reading it.
I would take my boys to the movies and then out for pizza.
Take the kids somewhere special – then take a nap!
Mt ideal birthday for one of my kids would be taking them on a helicopter ride and landing in the parking lot of thier favorite resteraunt.
My friend had a costume bowling party. It was unique because he was turning 28!
My day off would be spent at the beach with a good book (or two or three!)
If I have a day off I would do some motocross :))
I haven’t really been part of a birthday party that was unusual enough to be mentioned.
Pretty boring, but the most unique party I can think of was when I was a kid, it was a pool party and we ordered pizza.
If I was given the day off I would play video games for a few hours, take a walk to the park, and probably order chinese food. If there was time left I would do a bit of reading.
Catch up on much needed sleep and then spend the day doing something special with my husband (kids in school).
:/ no idea
I’d go to the spa!
I would sleep in and catch up on episodes of missed TV shows.
I would sleep in and then rent a car and go to the beach.
I had friends from overseas and I toured them around. It said “You are posting comments too quickly. Slow down.” – this is my first attempt at commenting!
If I had the day off, I would read.
Sleep in, watch TV.
Can’t really think of a unique birthday party.
A kid’s Dr. Seuss party – we had everyone dress up as Dr. Seuss characters… made for a really great day! :)
I would stay in my pjs, watch movies, take a nap, a nice long bath… all the things I don’t get to do very often anymore! :)
I pray to Baha’u'llah for guidance and strength
It is called comfort food for a reason ;)
a Hawaiian themed party it was fun for kids and adults alike
I feel it needs time to regroup silence and peace to re sustain itself for the hectic lives we lead
I crank up the volume on the stereo and sing and dance my heart out.
Reading my Bible always makes my soul refreshed.
Well, I can first tell you what I’d like to ideally do to fill up my soul which I have been able to do on occasion. I’d like to go to the sea, the desert or the mountains. All three of those places hold special meaning to me and do wonders for my soul. If for no other reason, they offer perspective. Perspective of my relative smallness in the world. It puts things in the proper light.
Since those opportunities are so far and few between, what I usually do is put on my guided imagery CD and take 20 minutes to myself to take the journey to self-fulfillment that way.
I try to make time for prayer and meditation.
My soul needs to listen to some music sometimes… I love going to concerts!
Well, I remember attending a friend’s birthday party and SHE HAD A HAMMOCK (it was kind of old) but it was a HAMMOUCK.
So we started swinging on the thing…good times, good times.
My soul just needs sleep…and no deadlines.
Stupid college.
The Eucharist at mass keeps me going!
Um, I don’t think I’ve ever been to a very unique birthday party…
I live by Lake Superior so I just need to go look at the lake for a while to recharge.
When my soul needs nourishment, I spend time outside enjoying the natural beauty of the planet.
I feed my soul with my dog, laughter and a good cup of coffee :)
I pray daily.
10 boxes of pizza, 5 haagen-daz ice cream boxes,5 buckets of chicken from KFC with only 7 guests at the birthday party.
I feed my soul listening some rock music
I feed my soul with good thoughts about what a good life I have had.
I read some books or poetry and watch some good movies.
More TV
a sweet kiss and hug from my girlfriend feeds my soul
chocolate
I have yet to have a unique birthday experience…
I spent my 29th birthday getting married in Vegas surrounded by my friends and family!
When my soul feels like it’s running on empty I make a hot cup of tea and relax on the couch and drink it. Sometimes with some soothing music such as Jazz or Celtic music.
I do something for someone else. I also spend some time with my family! :)
I spend 5 minutes in complete silence with eyes closed, meditating.
If I had a day off, I would catch up on my reading!
Most memorable bday party: when I missed it because I was delayed by a cancelled flight!
