A Little Love in the Mail

Remember when getting the mail from your mailbox was something to look forward to? You just never knew what would be there… maybe a letter from a relative? Or a postcard from a friend who’s traveling? There was also a good chance there’d be a bill or two, but it seemed that was always balanced with a little bit of love from someone special.

Well, an organization called “Postcards From Far Away”, would like us to harken back to that time…with a twist. And, given that Boom Boom! Card 12 from the Original Deck encourages you to get in touch with someone the old fashioned way, of course we’re on board!

PFFA is a social benefit organization created by Robb Anthony in his college dorm room in 2010. He had a simple concept, “to make people’s day.” So, he’d spend his summer paychecks buying postcards and filling them with positive messages and sending them, anonymously, to random people throughout the country.

Three years later he has a team that helps him and they go to schools and other organizations where volunteers write messages of love encouragement, hope and inspiration and mail them off to thousands of lucky and unsuspecting recipients.

We’re excited to have partnered with PFFA and donated Boom Boom! postcards that will be used to make people’s days! We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this truly awesome idea and make the world a little brighter.
