Boom Boom! Cards is excited to have met one of its initial company goals: to be able to give back. Now, when you buy Boom Boom! Cards, you are being nice, twice! We are thrilled to have partnered with the non-profit organization, iSpot Compassion, founded by Lori Butterworth.*

iSpot Compassion’s mission is to encourage young people to create projects and become involved in programs that benefit charities and non profits. iSpot wants to inspire young entrepreneurs to design and execute compassionate volunteer/fundraising projects that help their local communities. To help facilitate this process iSpot has created a network of pre-screened, thoroughly investigated non-profits so that people are ensured that the money they give is going directly toward making a tangible impact. Every time a deck of Boom Boom! Cards is purchased, 10% of the purchase price is donated; 5% goes to iSpot Compassion and 5% is donated to the charity of the purchaser’s choice.

*Lori Butterworth is a tenacious, non-profit social visionary who never stops until the job gets done. She is the founder and former Executive Director of Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Association as well as co-founder of the Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition (CHPCC). She spearheaded healthcare policy initiatives including the enactment of the Nick Snow Children’s Hospice and Palliative Care Act of 2006. Her many awards for leadership at Jacob’s Heart include the Soroptimist “Woman of Distinction Award for Health”, Santa Cruz County Woman of the Year, “Spirit of Excellence Award” and the “Use Your Life Award” from Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network.
