Hi Theresa,
What a great idea! We love it!

As far as which set to buy, that's a little tricky as you have a wide range of ages there...the Teen Deck is really for middle and high school aged kids with actions that fit their mindset and lifestyle. However, with that said, if you looked through the cards you might find a few in the pack that younger kids could do. My suggestion would probably be to purchase one Teen and one Family Deck as both have cards that you could use in this capacity, although most likely not all would apply. If you want to read the cards before you purchase them, all you need to do is go to the home page, click on the icon for the deck you want to view and a grid of all the cards will pop up. Just click on each card and it will enlarge so you can read it. If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. Good luck with your project...let us know how it goes. Thanks for you support and Boom Boom!

I am loving this idea for my 4-H club. As an organization that pledges to do positive things for club, community, country, and world I think this would be ideal for demonstrating how as a club we can have a far-reaching impact by starting where we are. Which set do you recommend for a group of varying ages? I've got 45 kids that range in age from 8 to 16 right now.

Hi Mary Beth,

One of the teachers at my school referred me to this site to explore the Boom Boom Revolution. As the student council adviser for the school, giving students a tangible way to be committed to both their local, national, and global communities is challenging. This guerilla goodness concept definitely has no bounds. I'd like to consult with you regarding the best way to utilize these cards and figure exactly how many should be ordered.

just wondering if this was ever developed. I'd love to bring this idea to my school staff. Let me know if Jen indeed created a scavenger hunt type activity. Good idea!

Hey Mary Beth!
So I just got a job as prinicpal of an elementary school! I want to use the boom boom cards to do a team building activity during my first staff development day before school starts. Ever hear of anybody doing this in a scavenger hunt type format before I go create my own? Also I'd like to buy a deck for each of my teachers to do with their classes...which deck would you recommend--the family version? I think you need to start working on an elementary version:)
xo,

Welcome to the Boom Boom! Cards site and thanks for your question. I am happy to answer it.

Each Boom Boom! Card has a simple act of kindness on it. You do a card, then come here to the website, log your card in and tell your story about what happened when you did it. You can upload pictures and video too! Once you do this, the location of where the card was played is logged on the website map. Next, you give the card away for someone else to do, they log it in the website and so on...you can watch where your card goes every time it's played. Each card you do contributes to a chain reaction of kindness.

I hope this answers your question. If you need any more information, please don't hesitate to contact us!
